The 2024 Green Hydrogen Global Forum significantly expanded in scale and visibility compared to 2023. It gathered international experts, government officials, and innovators across generations to explore a sustainable future built on clean hydrogen.

Key Highlights

  • High-Level Participation: Included Korea’s Vice Minister of MOTIE, the Chair of the 2050 Carbon Neutrality Commission, and multiple National Assembly members.

  • Global Leadership Sessions: Featured a roundtable with representatives from six nations (Norway, India, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK), and international institutions.

  • Exhibition Zones:

    • Theme Zone: Introduction to the green hydrogen ecosystem

    • Corporate Zone: Participation from 22 companies and institutions

    • Jeju Zone: Showcased Jeju’s 2035 carbon neutrality vision

  • Hydrogen Experience Program:

    • Site visits to the Hangwon Green Hydrogen Production Plant and Hamdeok Hydrogen Charging Station

    • Demonstration rides in hydrogen-powered buses
